Absolutely beautiful house. Warm, spacious, gorgeous rooms, perfect location for central Keswick and its own parking which is great.
Richard was a fantastic host, very easy to reach and nothing was too small to help with. Really highly recommend. Would definitely return.

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful yet super convenient location. The cottage had everything we needed and was comfortable with a good amount of space for 4 of us. The only thing we'd have liked would be more hanging space in the bedrooms as there were just a couple of hooks but just a small thing! The EV charger was a great addition and easy to use.

Fabulous luxury townhouse stay for a special family occasion. Wonderful property for a large group, including several young children, with ample space across four floors. Beautiful decor throughout. Perfect location with town centre and Fitz Park both on door step. Hosts very helpful and responsive throughout booking. Perfect stay.

This is the second time we stayed at this specific place. It’s very convenient for Keswick walking into town and out to the fells. The private EV charger is a huge bonus. We loved it here the first time and the second time. Feels like a home from home now. Hosts are super organised and responsive. Massive recommendation for this place!

We stayed at Mickledore House for a Team building weekend.
The property was lovely and maintained to a high standard.
Richard and Isabel have thought about everything, from keyless entry to EV charging. It felt like a home away from home.

Firstly wow, upon arrival the place was as described and beautiful even a complimentary wine was such a nice touch. Stayed with my partner and two dogs and we settled in so well we added another nights stay onto our trip. The hosts were super helpful with suggestions of local walks and pubs. The house its self is decorated beautifully like a home from home! The heated floor was an added bonus when returning from a long rainy walk.

Lovely cottage, fabulous location, very quiet.
The added bonus of a parking space and EV charger was great. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the centre of Keswick.

My second stay at Richard’s beautiful house. Can’t recommend highly enough. Great location and beautiful home. Has such a nice feel to it. I’d buy it is was for sale!

We had a fantastic weekend staying here. The house was spotless and beautifully presented, and the location was ideal - close to the town center yet quiet and peaceful inside. It was ideal having the garage to keep cars in too! Everything we needed was within easy walking distance. Richard, the owner, was very friendly and promptly responded to any questions we had by text or phone. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The house was amazing. It has been done to a very high standard throughout and was perfect for our group of 13 people. Loads of space whether that be in the kitchen; the dining area or the sitting rooms. It was immaculately prepared for us and Richard and Isobel were proactive and responsive throughout the booking process and in the week leading up to us arriving. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Brilliant place and thank you!!
