With underfloor heating throughout and a log burner, this is a perfect place to rest after a long day on the fells or just as a place to relax. Mickledore Cottage boasts an off road parking space with free EV charging. You'll enjoy a peaceful stay whilst being based conveniently in the centre of Keswick.

From the moment you book, the host makes everything easy with a fantastic digital guidebook, full of useful details on getting there, WiFi, and checkout, plus plenty of local tips to make your stay effortless. The house is wonderful: bright, modern, and spacious, with superb comfort throughout, especially the cosy living room seating and the excellent beds. The open-plan living and dining area is perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. Having an on-site electric car charger is a real bonus, taking away any charging worries. The location is outstanding, right beside the park and river, close to a handy bus stop for Penrith, and just a short stroll to Keswick’s vibrant centre with its cafés, restaurants, pubs, and shops. Walk a little further and you’ll reach the beautiful Derwentwater. A fantastic cottage in a perfect location.

We had a fantastic time staying at the cottage. It was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Comfy beds. The location is fantastic as you are really central to Keswick but tucked out the way so it’s quiet. We felt very at home. Highly recommend! Thanks so much, Jamie and family

Find us

It's best to get around Keswick on foot, but guests can enjoy a private parking space. All the restaurants, pubs and retail shops are one minutes walk from the cottage. There is extra on road parking nearby if needed. There is a great local park just yards from the house, which includes adult and junior parkrun, and and extensive children's play area.
