We had a fantastic weekend staying here. The house was spotless and beautifully presented, and the location was ideal - close to the town center yet quiet and peaceful inside. It was ideal having the garage to keep cars in too! Everything we needed was within easy walking distance. Richard, the owner, was very friendly and promptly responded to any questions we had by text or phone. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a fantastic time staying at the cottage. It was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Comfy beds. The location is fantastic as you are really central to Keswick but tucked out the way so it’s quiet. We felt very at home. Highly recommend! Thanks so much, Jamie and family

What an absolute delightful stay we had here. It was absolutely spotless and clean. Richard and Isabel were so friendly in their correspondence with us and check in was so easy. Very close to all amenities. A lovely touch of a bottle of wine on arrival. Well worth the money. We would recommend this accommodation highly. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

The house was amazing. It has been done to a very high standard throughout and was perfect for our group of 13 people. Loads of space whether that be in the kitchen; the dining area or the sitting rooms. It was immaculately prepared for us and Richard and Isobel were proactive and responsive throughout the booking process and in the week leading up to us arriving. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Brilliant place and thank you!!

Wonderful accommodation in the heart of Keswick - shops, restaurants, and beautiful walks all steps away from the front door. Great light and modern furnishings throughout. Richard is probably the most proactively communicative and helpful host I’ve encountered with excellent local recommendations.

We had a lovely stay, enjoyed by two separate families & group of friends coming together for a weekend of walking. Everyone really enjoyed the stay and it was perfect. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning. Thank you.

A fantastic house and location, exceeding our high expectations. The house is beautiful, was spotless and provided ample room for our group. Fitz Park across the road is great for kids and an unexpected bonus. Within 5 minutes walk you’re in the heart of Keswick and the location is a great base for all parts of the Lakes. Will definitely be back!

We went to the Lake District last year and had to come back this year, Keswick didn’t disappoint and we thought it was better than Windermere!
Our host was excellent with their communication and the information they provided, making it easy to find and check in to their property. Lovely cute cottage with everything you need. Also gave some great local recommendations and the digital guide they provided was really useful.
We are a family of 3 with an 11 year old daughter and had plenty to do. The cottage is in the perfect location and a short walk to all the cafes, restaurants, shops, parks and pubs (plenty of craft beers) My favourite shop was an independent book store called Bookends - a book lovers heaven!
Can recommend - hike up to the summit of Catbells, hiring bikes to do the Keswick to Threlkeld route (10km flat) - amazing tea room in Threlkeld, Fitz Park is on your doorstep, Rookin House for horse riding and adventures and a walk around Derwent Water. Lots of memories made.
