Set over 4 floors this house offers large, spacious rooms. The entrance doubles as a boot room leading into a large kitchen diner with utility room. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom and bedroom. The first floor hosts the family lounge with log burner as well as a bedroom and 2 further bathrooms. The second floor has a cosy snug, 1 twin bedroom, one double with ensuite and 2 further bathrooms. The third floor has 3 twin bedrooms tucked in the eves but remaining spacious.

The house was amazing. It has been done to a very high standard throughout and was perfect for our group of 13 people. Loads of space whether that be in the kitchen; the dining area or the sitting rooms. It was immaculately prepared for us and Richard and Isobel were proactive and responsive throughout the booking process and in the week leading up to us arriving. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Brilliant place and thank you!!

A fantastic house and location, exceeding our high expectations. The house is beautiful, was spotless and provided ample room for our group. Fitz Park across the road is great for kids and an unexpected bonus. Within 5 minutes walk you’re in the heart of Keswick and the location is a great base for all parts of the Lakes. Will definitely be back!

What a beautiful house. So worth the money. Decoration and furnishings were fantastic . Really close to Keswick town centre but equally so beautiful and peaceful. Proximity to the town and all its amenities plus the natural surroundings of the lake and green spaces gave us everything we wanted. Keswick is such a great place. Such a thriving busy market town but right in amongst beautiful countryside. Location great for all (we were 3 generations) and house was really roomy with bathrooms for all and spaces for everyone to get their own space when needed. Better than our expectations. Would recommend 100%. Thankyou.

The place was amazing, the group loved it. The facilities are perfect for a group trip. Everything about it made sense. The host was very responsive and kind. It’s right next to a bus stop that will take you to Penrith station. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous house, stylishly furnished and well equipped to a high standard. Beautifully clean with lovely bed linen and towels. Great location for walking and wonderful area. Lots of nice walks on the doorstep. Host was very helpful and responsive to queries. Wish we could have stayed longer and would return in heartbeat.

An ideal base for larger groups located close to the centre of this charming north Cumbrian town. While our family group was primarily visiting for a strenuous day in the hills at the foot of Borrowdale, there are ample other opportunities at lower levels and along the nearby lakeside, and if the weather proved disappointing, the property is sufficiently spacious for a day of indoor activities, or as a base for browsing the town which is a stone's throw away. Pictures hardly do justice to the accommodation: it's worth noting that the cooking, dining, and bathroom capacities are well-matched to the advertised bed capacity - there's little risk of having to juggle too-few ovens, guests eating at the counter, or needing to queue for the toilet when getting ready for the day. With excellent comms, the stay was fantastic: several guests that regularly book through Airbnb commented that it was the best property they'd experienced.

Find us

This central location means that getting around Keswick on foot is easy. Parking is a premium and limited around Keswick so suggest walking where possible. There are several fell walks which can be started from the house including Skiddaw.
